The Gymmie App

Gymmie was an app that a few friends and I had worked on in college. The idea was to create an app that would help people find gym partners. The UX we decided on ended up being similar to Tinder, in that you’d see a profile and swipe right if you were interested in working out with them and left if you wanted to keep looking. At the end of the day, the app didn’t really take off, but it was a great learning experience and it led to a lot of other opportunities for everyone on the team.

My responsibilities on the team were campus marketing, campus rep management, graphic design, and UX design. Along with my friend Max we also shared the role of team lead. I also recruited our team of developers. Below are a few pieces of content that I produced for the app.
